Hi ****, I'm a volunteer with Multnomah County Democrats.
Your vote is vital to this election. If you want help, find our candidate and measure endorsements at multdemsvote.com
You can find the nearest ballot drop box at https://sos.oregon.gov/voting/Pages/drop-box-locator.aspx
Please support our Democratic candidates.
Vote like your rights depend on it — Because They Do!
Thanks, *********
Thanks for the tip!
The number supposedly identifying where the call came from is meaningless because spammers, telemarketers, etc. routinely spoof caller ID. There are even apps for it where you can do it yourself. I doubt 1 in 100 of these pests uses the actual number they’re calling from. If a number isn’t in my directory I don’t answer it.
"me and about a dozen of my retired friends need a lift to vote Democrat. We need to impeach Trump! Please send a bus to our retirement village, Covfefe Manor, at 1060 West Addison in Chicago. Thank you!"
I had some kid knock on my door and ask for my daughter.
I told him to get out of my yard.
Yes the Dems are losing what’s left of their minds.
Can’t wait until Nov. 7th
I want to see mad cow lose it
I got one - a text - from Washington State and I’m in Southern California.
I’ve been getting invitations to join the blue wave for weeks. Lately, one of the members of the church has been sending out more neutral ones reminding everyone of the hours and dates of early voting.
I got three calls today in an hour from the same person using the same area code and exchange, only the last four digits varied. All of them had the same millennial sounding girl, starting with do not hang up. This is not a sales call. I could hear a bit of politics in the background, but did not listen to the rest of her spiel.
Actually, none with my name but some similar wording.
They have plenty of money. Just a losing message.
While not a phone call, we got the oddest get-out-the-vote postcard in the mail last Friday for some unknown democommie peckerhead running for GA’s ninth district-BUT-get this, it was postmarked from of all places-SAN FRANCISCO!!! I knew the left coast liberals were stupid, but da-YAM! Did they ever stop to think for even one second just how well that will go over here amongst all us ‘ignorant hillbillies’???
I am getting them from everybody and its damned near making my phone useless
I may end up getting a new number soon...
You must assume that the phone number was spoofed. Location means nothing any more.
I got a GOTV message for someone else from Moveon.Org. I was not amused, but was smart enough to just respond that this was an unwanted message and any further contacts will be reported to the FCC, rather than tell them what I really think of Moveon.Org. I’m still somewhat surprised that they haven’t retaliated by hacking my phone.
I get lots but mainly from Repubs/NRCC etc., because once you donate, they become a horde of hungry hyenas like any other political group....also get between 35 and 60 email pleas a day - regular mailbox stays clean but the Spam folder needs emptied a lot.
Yes. Last week I got a text from the UAW in Indiana, addressing me by a woman’s name, urging me to go vote for Joe Donnolly at a specific address that day.
My reply:
This is not____________, and I am not in Indiana. I have already voted, and it wasn’t for Democrats. Please remove my number from your list and do not send me Democrat propaganda ever again. Thank you.
To their credit, I received a polite, apologetic promise that they would not contact me again.

I have wondered why I purchased an IP7+. Now I know. If I don’t recognize a number I don’t answer. If the caller then leaves no message, I just block the number. Works for me.
I have been using “Hiya” which works extremely well for most telemarketers but, now the political races are blowing up my text all day and it is very disturbing.
I have a lot if family things going on right now and we are all texting each other
I don’t give a pluck what Mitch McConnell thinks is so earth shattering that I need to hear about two or three times a day or at 2am
Got my third one today. They appear to be from Minnesota, but as we all know, those things can be faked.
All three knew my name and all three contained a link to a You Tube video, which I would never click on.
The one I got today was supposedly from a Republican candidate. The other two, not.
