Sadly this doesn’t help a mom. Even if she found some guy who WANTED to do the 3 am feeds. Because the way breast milk quantity works, is it takes cues from how much baby is taking, and keeps up that amount. So if dad were feeding the baby with some formula it would lessen her amount of the good stuff. Or... does she have to get up at 3 anyway and pump for some guy to get his breastfeeding in??? Other than pajamaboy, what man wants this?

You're right...in an effort to help (assuming there is no altering motive) this may hurt unless Mom pumps, in which case why bother? And as someone else wrote, how healthy will this milk be for baby?

I don't know. I know I wouldn't have signed up for it. However, Mrs DoodleBob pointed out that feminists should be outraged that one of the few things that ONLY A WOMAN CAN DO seems to be "going away." There should be outrage in Cosmo et al.
