They’re not the worst fast food I’ve ever eaten but barbecue they are not. They’re also just the strangest looking pale lump of stuff prior to that sauce being slathered all over it too, no telling what it actually is. Looks like no sort of meat I’ve ever seen.

Pickles and onions are a standard side at a lot of the Q joints I go to here in Central Texas.

In the last 25 years Ive been to McDonalds around five times. Once becuase I was riding with the rest of the band and I had no choice... You must have been in a very successful band. Most touring bands eat at Micky D's a LOT....drive thru. My band warmed up for The Judds many years ago. After the show their tour bus was at the McDonald's drive-thru window in front of our van!

Well, maybe there is a reason I’m 64 with no health insurance and saving a ton of money:)
Of course the Grace of God is the real reason, but diet helps. I have to say that my wife not only don’t eat out much, but when we do it’s oddly unsatisfying. Lately we ask ourselves why we bother.

I would rather eat a McRib than the “riblets” served at
some other eateries.
God knows what kind of animal has ribs like that!

Oh, I got it, like a six legged rabbit.
At least we’re not eating something with eight legs, ick.

McDonald’s threads are fun. I love watching all the pontificating blowhard people wax eloquently about how above McDonald’s they are.

I grew up in western PA where wrestling is more of a religion than a sport. I was on our junior high school varsity team in 7th grade and from October through late December I starved myself to maintain my position in the 105 lb. weight class. It was also the year the McRibs were introduced in our area. After our last match in December, we had a couple weeks over Christmas/New Years before our next match in January. After that match, my dad took me to McD's and we had a couple of McRibs. At that point, dead rat would have been delicious, but above and beyond that, I was all of 13 and it was the first time my dad and I had a conversation where he spoke to me like a man, and not his little boy.
Every year when the McRibs come out, I'm able to relive that moment, and the taste is just as delicious know as it was then :-)

Nasty or not... They sell extremely well. This is about the most ignorant business model I have seen yet... To limit anything that sells this well is just absolutely dumb.

I agree. Tastes like cheap baloney with bbq sauce.
To: RegulatorCountry
I like a McRib. Just one. The first bite tastes great, but by the time I get to the last bite it is tasting different and not in a good way.
