A student at a Catholic university was called into a meeting with the schools Title IX coordinator this week after speaking out against the universitys cross-dressing drag shows, claiming that they represent an assault on the dignity of the human person and the divine gift of ordered sexuality.
In his column in The Carroll News, Declan Leary said the Jesuit-run John Carroll University was providing deviant entertainment for misguided young people by sponsoring the annual event where men dress as women.

Christians no longer welcome at catholic institutions.
And it seems your own Pope hates conservative Catholics.
Thoughtcrime.
My alma-mater (Seattle University, Jesuit) also has drag shows on campus. It is Catholic in name only, and I suspect it’s only a matter of time before the pretense is dropped entirely.
I work in the chemical industry. I once mentioned in a private conversation that I believed that all the low VOC requirements have hit their zenith and would at some point be lessened and removed.
Within a day, I was sitting with our environmental department for some “retraining” on my personal opinion.
My opinion hasn’t changed and I left eh meeting being very clear that they weren’t going to change my personal opinion.
And I was right. The state of California is actually lessening some regulations.
Ooooh I would love to be called in to such a meeting
I also love getting scam phone calls. Got one from “Microsoft tech support” last night about how my computer was broken and he could help me fix it if I went to his web site and paid him $400 after it locked up my computer.
I bet his ears are STILL ringing.
I get really vile with these people. I am so ashamed of some of the things I think of to say to them (not really)
Today my wife told me our 9yo daughter had a nightmare last night and woke her. I asked what that was about? I was told she dreamed that her school was too full and had to return to her old school, Catholic school.
She really loves her new school. It is a bit unique because we live on a peninsular so it is like immune to crap standards. The Catholic school was small. Her new (”new”) school has cooking, soccer, great art classes, music, sports field, auditorium, game rooms, large playground, three building the kids move to and from, etc, very good teachers, and they get on a bus to go swimming in a pool for three school hours each week, etc.
The Catholic school was small and had mostly non of that. Plus she knows a lot of kids in our neighborhood. Catholic school many of the children were driven in from all across Berlin.
Catholic colleges and universities no longer even give the pretense of being Christian. They’re out-of-the-closet Satanic. Like the Pope himself.
I wasn't expecting that.
Upon first reading, I checked to see if Jesuits were involved.
Bingo.
Makes one wonder how long Jesuits have worked to keep the fact that they are anti-Catholic a secret.
And if there is indeed a hell, there HAS to be a special double super secret Jesuit section.
Come to think of it, the peninsula we live on is where a lot of educators live. It’s a touristy place.
Couple of weeks ago I went to pick her up early from school. I can do that. But was told they went for a picnic in the park. So I waited because it wasn’t that long and she said it was one of her best days ever.
I asked my wife: they can do that? Just decide it is a nice day to go picnic?
She looked in the schoolbag and found a note saying there was a staff meeting and they were going to do that.
I said Oh. Nevermind then.
I did the opposite: I pulled my daughter from a very well thought of public school whose students didn't think a thing about bring pornography to class so I pulled her from there and started her in a Catholic school.
She is doing very well scholastically and she is free from the wonderful immoral influence of the public school. She led the Prayer of the Faithful at this morning's Mass.
You can assume what you like.
As I often do - but in your case the evidence is that your preference for nice facilities and enjoyable curricula supersedes your desire to have your daughter receive a religious education.
You might as well be honest about that.
Except, my daughter has and does receive a religious education.
You might give up on the assumptions.
Oh, I don’t know. I have a pretty good batting average with my assumptions.
The evidence here doesn’t show that.
