Best wasp/bug killer is carburetor cleaner. With the straw nozzle you can zero in on the target. Works almost instantly.

What a dumb blowtorch.

Time to outlaw blowtorches...

He set the house on fire to cover up the damage from blowtorching the spiders.

It is east of Blackstone, which turns into Friant Road. Woodward Lakes is between Champlain and Copper. It is the high rent district heading toward Friant/Millerton Lake. Woodward Lake is manmade, with the most exclusive neighborhoods immediately around the lake being gated.

Methinks:

1. Mom and Dad are not going to be happy.
2. Drugs and or alcohol were involved with his decision-making process.

What is unknown:
1. Did he even have permission to be there while Mom and Dad were gone?

A.22 would work nicely. No need to go overboard with the flame-thrower.

Although the exact cause has not been determined, fire crews believe the blowtorch is to blame.

These guys don't miss much. This is what napalm was invented for.

Do you know where Clovis East is? Over by there. Think Ashlan and Locan. Or Shields and Locan.

Not too long ago this entire area was considered the country with nothing here but fields and some sparse houses. Now we gentrified it with our suburban selves.

I used to live over on Fruit and Bullard back in my younger days by St. Mary's.

Small world.

Ooook. I stand corrected. That is NOT my neighborhood. I have it confused with another housing development. Derp on me.

That area is above my pay grade, and I did NOT win the lotto. One number out of five lines.

There was one last year where some intellectual giant poured gasoline on a snake and lit it on fire.

The burning snake slithered into some dry brush against the house which promptly burned to the ground.

Growing up in S. Florida there were spiders as big as the palm of your hand and spun webs several feet across.

After the first 100 times of walking face first into the webs and doing the spider dance they don’t phase me at all anymore.

"Best wasp/bug killer is carburetor cleaner.

I use starter fluid... Lots cheaper then the hornet killer and works a lot better...

There is a product you can buy at Lowe’s called “MISS MUFFET’S REVENGE”. Gallon jug of contents with hose & sprayer. Spray all of your corners, etc. Let sit for 24 hours. Sweep down all the webs. Guaranteed for a year to keep spiders away. EVEN Black Widows. I have Black Widows and this year, the webs are very busy & all over the place. I am predicting a hard winter based on those webs.

Thanks. Will look for that at the ranch supply. I do use Terro Ant Dust & it works great. Ant hill is gone within 8 hours.

I used it to de-spider my garage. I also found 2 brown recluses occupying a seldom-used closet which I introduced them to. They notice it right away but it takes them a little time to die. Probably not a humane method but no better than they’d give me.
