Yes, overall, that is the case (as is Los Angeles). There ARE pockets of conservatism throughout New England, but -- unfortunately we are outnumbered.
I want to take this opportunity to APOLOGIZE for the Red Sox owners' decision to haul out the carcass of wimpy James Taylor to sing his sad, wussy rendition of our national anthem during Game 1 at Fenway. Barf!
The Red Sox owners are under the mistaken impression that we are actually fans of this highly overrated POS. Fortunately our national anthem was performed properly by the Boston Pops during Game 2.
Nice post——I was in my kitchen when James Taylor was singing——very small TV-——I barely recognized him———and ALWAYS hated him because of his over-rated singing style.
I would hate him even if he was a Trump voter.
Go Sox !!!!!!!!!!!!
.
I dare say you can’t find a city that isn’t a bastion of liberals
Yes!! Whenever the Anthem is sung anywhere, I hold my breath until I hear the singing style. Single singers ALWAYS seem to get their own trills in. But group or military singers are always true to the anthem. And having the Boston Pops was the absolute best! Every note true to the way it was written. It was wonderful!
Finally! We get to see Brock play in the WS!
