I’ve been on my soup making/freezing kick, for a couple of days, now.

I made a double batch of gumbo and a batch of beef stew.

Froze all but two YUGE servings (of the stew), that hubby and I had, last night....with my homemade Mexican cornbread. And, no...I do NOT like sugar in my cornbread :) Neither did my dad, nor my Granny...who was an amazing Southern cook.

I love gumbo. We used to do audits in Lafayette LA & get the best gumbo I ever had. But I’m sure yours is better.

Mexican cornbread has jalapeños, I’m guessing?

Sounds good. I don’t like sugar in cornbread either.
