Wouldn’t the zombies have just decomposed after the first season, especially over the summer?
I haven’t watched it since @sswipe Negan showed up, but I do hope they don’t kill Rick.
I was expecting a pic of the Honduran mob marching towards our boarder. Oops not the M word should have been caravan.
New zombies get made when people die. There is also a kind of “magical” element to these zombies (and many zombies in movies / TV shows where the zombie bodies live on even though they wouldn’t in real life).

The new zombies thing doesn’t work because I have seen zombies in suits or apocalypse inapporiate attire. That means they’re zombies from season one. Therefore, either the zombie virus prevents decomposition or it’s supernatural.

The best way would be for him to get on board that mystery helicopter and fly away to parts unknown. At least the character would be alive.

Did that just seem like a very flat episode to anyone? But did finally got to hear a little more about the helicopter.
Even the Talking Dead seems sleepy.
I have a feeling that’s what’s going to happen. Ann, or whatever her name is now, turns Rick over to the helicopter people (I’m guessing he is considered an A), so that leaves room for him to come back at the end of the series.
They didn't indicate when or what episode will be Maggie's departure.
