Slice 2 onions into a quart jar, add 4 tablespoons of brown sugar, place lid and let stand for 2 hours.

Add a little tomato sauce, some cayenne pepper and chile powder, secret spices, bring to a boil...reduce over low heat...allow to cool...

Barb-au-que sauce.

I make a mean crushed red pepper. Usually with dragon cayenne pepper. This year I’m also making batches with habenero.
