If most citizens want to leave because of Merkel’s open border policies, then why is she still in her position? No doubt the number is growing that oppose her policies, but the magic number of most has not yet arrived. If that number has finally arrived it’s their won fault for it not arriving sooner as it was clear what her stance was regarding open border policy when she was recently reelected.
The article does say that 1/3 of Germans want to move away, and 38% of those say its due to policies that make them feel unsafe.
