I have always been a trump supporter from the very beginning but at times worried he was going off the rails like some kind of crazy train. What I didn't know is that he understands the left better than most do.
Here's what Trump knows:

The left is excellent on staying on target, they stick to the message and don't veer and the media carry's their water eagerly and willingly. He also knows their message is deceitful and they wish only power, power at all cost. This message must be disrupted but how?
Pull the Trigger

Trump knows how to "trigger" the left as the young kids today say. Trump knows the left is mostly driven by pure emotion and feelings. The left wallows in victim-hood and perceived hurt feelings. More importantly they come unhinged literally to the point of mental illness when they worldview is challenged. They become unhinged for several reasons such as its outrageous to simply not agree with their "truths" and also they have no real facts to back up their worldview other than it just feels right and is "fair".
So, Trump brilliantly does things like challenge Warren on her American Indian heritage which has really hurt the left and demonstrated what a farce identity politics truly is. The left is seething and cannot stay on message, even mere weeks before the midterms.
With Kavanaugh he questioned the accusers and and stuck with his candidate to the bitter end, tweeting and ripping apart the accusers to the rage of the left, causing them to impale themselves on a story so false even the left themselves couldn't truly believe it.
Trump pokes and twists at their emotions and assumptions in such a way it seems outrageous to them, they cannot help but react and make fools of themselves - meanwhile, they are off-message, getting further and further out of touch with the American people.
Even better, many of the people who have been imprisoned are being set free from the chains that bound them.
Trump is not afraid to speak the truth, he's embolden all of us as well. We are fighting back the enemy's of freedom, common sense, and decency. We will win this battle.

Doubt it something that gets exploited in all of us.
Those of us who try to eliminate doubt and operate with extreme confidence and efficacy tend to get burned in those times (however few they may be) where we are wrong or make a mistake, and are made to regret it.
Trump does not regret. He is extremely effective, and moreover, he keeps it up because he rarely makes a legitimate full-blown mistake. This is something that must be very hard to do in the highly competitive business world, and arguably even harder to do in the political realm.
Look at how hard they tried to find a foreign collusion angle on him during the campaign season!!! Based on the evidence I have seen, they even installed moles then sent in trolls to illicit questionable activity, and THEY STILL COULDN’T GET HIM TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE, even though he is a novice to the world of political law and campaign finance etc...
If they can turn Trump into a weasely, hedgey, mealy-mouthed flake like all of the career politicians were trained to be, he will lose his edge and no longer be able to spearhead real change
Not only is President Trump a master of psychology, he is a brilliant man and he “gets” people...that is probably one of his greatest strengths.

There’s a reason why I say Trump plays Grandmaster-level political chess. Everyone else, especially the Left, is playing political tic-tac-toe. :-)
He has been working with NYC democrats for 40 years..he has all politicians pegged..most could not get a real job..
