He was covering the fighting in Turkey, as a journalist.
Yeah, thats the ticket....reporting as a journalist.
Probably has Clappers private cell-phone number.
****** yes and WHY do we care, my understanding is this not unusual for either country, WHO has to gain, media, more headlines. President Trump Doesn’t Protect Journalist, in toe Hellary and Soros
I don’t like this mofo and I REALLY don’t care he’s dead... Turkey and SA can go to war ( that would interesting) case of pop corn for that.
:: and WHY do we care ::
WE don’t care.
The media is using it to promote themselves as ‘victims’ of Trump’s verbal vitriol against the media. It is a proxy killing that will be blamed on Trump. Trump has no choice but to address it.
Which, he does, but he is slow-rolling it.
No, they can't. It wouldn't be in our interest for two of our supposed allies to be fighting each other.
I believe we want the Saudis as trade partners and as a stabilizing force in the Mid-East. We are encouraging them to build their own, self-determined, more sociably-accepted -on-the-world-stage, democracy. Every time they let a woman drive or take off her headscarf, we have to publicly applaud them just like we celebrate the kid's first poop on the potty!
Turkey comes in handy militarily. We usually have to fly over their airspace and do some of our staging there when we have a dust-up in the Middle East.
So no, we don't need those two knuckleheads fighting each other.
As for this guy in Turkey, he knew the Saudis were out to get him. He even worked out a "now if I come over there, you guys promise not to catch me and hurt me? You promise? Pinky swear?" deal beforehand. And, finally (wow, I gotta stop using my professional writing!) all this stuff we heard yesterday about him being killed right away, audio recordings and dismemberment...uh..I read that last week! Of course I can't remember where I read it, maybe I heard it, but the final coup de grace of the piece is this: they won't find his body on the embassy grounds. The reason for the bone saw was so they could fit him in their diplomatic pouches and take him home, to Saudi Arabia. Whew!!!
