ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - The woman seen in a viral video confronting and blocking a St. Louis man from entering his downtown loft was fired from her job Sunday.
Tribeca-STL, which says it is a minority-owned business, released a statement Sunday afternoon saying its owners were "disturbed" by the interaction in the video.
The company confirmed the woman in the video was an Tribeca-STL employee but the incident took place at her personal residence.
Cellphone footage captured the confrontation between the two tenants showing the woman stopping a man from entering his downtown loft and demanding proof he lived there.
D'Arreion Toles was returning home from a late night at the office when a tenant who lived on the third floor of Elder Shirt Lofts created a roadblock.

So that a crazy bleach blonde will not try to throw her out of the building?
Of the terrible things to possibly befall a person in St. Louis, that’s very far down the list.
Virtue signal after you’ve taken a spin around town.
Memo: If you see something then STFU.
I remember her. She’s one of those people who becomes a loud angry drunk after just a little alcohol. The kind who should avoid alcohol altogether, or drink only inside her own home with nobody else around. I recall seeing her embarassed tall boyfriend act to wall her off from screaming directly into that cops’s face. I’d be surprised if that is still her boyfriend now.
I don't know how many times I've encountered individuals in the hallway that didn't belong there, especially since the main entrance door was not secure and all you had to do was turn the nob then yank it open.
And I can't tell you how many times someone I didn't know would ring my intercom and door buzzer (intercom didn't work)in an attempt to get in the building and going down to the main door to see who it was, it was someone I never knew and their excuse was that they had the wrong building.
On two separate occasions I've even had people knock on my door at 11:30 p.m. and later, long after I had gone to bed after they were able to enter the building........
It's better to be safe than sorry...........The black gentleman should have been glad that someone in his building actually cared who got in rather than turn it into an obvious racial issue.......
Never be rude to an Irishman no matter what you...oh who am I kidding. Rag on Robert Francis O’Rourke all you want.
What is it with all these White women going after Black people? There’s this incident, as well as a recent one in which a White “lady” accuses a young, Black lad of sexual harassment because his backpack brushed up against her ass.
It’s getting as out of hand as all the urban Black mayhem in most of our large cities.
If the building requires a card for entry, he could have “tailgated”, as they call it, I suppose.
Watch the video again.
He expression is odd, it is almost as if she is flirting, or hitting in him, but goes about it in a horrible way.
Okay let me get this strait.
She does not think the man lives there. She’s never seen him before. So she confronts him? Had that been a serial killer she’s been dead by now!
Why did she not call the building manager or 911 and say “there is a man in the apartment I’ve never seen before and I’m scared”. Let them work it out.
Are all these young people freaking retarded?
I simply answered a question with a question: "Are you a certified law enforcement officer? No? Then my official response is "No comment". Step aside please because if you prohibit me from going someplace I am legally allowed to go, you'll be the one in handcuffs. "
And she did. We also made sure that as we swam we were especially loud and messy. Just my family and her in the condo unit in blazing hot JUL FL :)
Apparently she’s now a “weekend weather girl” at a radio station in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Clarksburg has a population of 16,578. Philadelphia has a population of 1.58 million.
She should have simply called the cops or property manager.
Ah but she still has her small yapping dog
I expected to see some homeless looking person. Hes clean cut, well mannered WTH?
I dont see what she did wrong here other than the baseless accusation that shes racist.
She committed no crime. She didnt assault the man. She didnt verbally assault the man. The police werent even involved?
But youre pleased as punch shes fired?
She should not have done that. Once he said he lived there, she should have apologized and hid her face in shame.
The story doesn’t say that
100%
It should never have gone on that long. Once he said he lived there and showed his key, she should have apologized and went on her way. The convo started before the recording. This went on too long. She was in the wrong to continue after he showed his card.
How did that work out for police officer Sgt. James Crowley?
Remember Obama's beer summit?.....LOL!
