Lyden has, in the past, met with and supported Newt Gingrich. I'm sure you can find videos on youtube.
Lyden detests PC culture. He has long been a vocal critic of snotty liberals.
He's not the most polished but he does speak his mind and he has largely supported conservative ideals.
He's a complicated character.
"Johnny Rotten has explained the lyrics as follows: "You don't write 'God Save The Queen' because you hate the English race. You write a song like that because you love them, and you're fed up with them being mistreated." He intended to evoke sympathy for the English working class, and a general resentment towards the monarchy."

If Meat Loaf is a conservative, maybe he should do a special remake of “I Want My Money Back” converted to “I Want My Country Back” ... that would be kinda kewl.

But the punk legend appeared to have left his hell-raising days in the past... Oh, my no. Johnny still knows how to spin them up, that's all. Kanye's having the time of his life doing the same.
To: knarf
Oh, my. Not the Johnny Rotten I remember.

It reads like satire.
Might want to check. Even the Daily Mail UK could have been snowed.
