I just saw Gosnell in the theater last night, and it is very well done. It is a huge eye-opener on the abortion industry.
The acting was surprisingly good, especially the actor for dr. Gosnell. He did an excellent job at capturing the darkness and creepiness of this killer.
When I last checked, this movie had 97% approval ratings from viewers and surprisingly over 60% from Critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
Much Financial Risk was taken to put together this anti-abortion movie. Please take time to see it!
Planning to. The wife doesn’t want to.
Great movie but being blacklisted by the liberal media. Fox News has shown the trailer a couple times, but not much. Rest of the media, a 100% blackout.
The movie is is Gory with scenes of hallways and refrigerators filled with little bags that must be holding the bodies of babies, but it is not violent. By not violent, I mean it does not show actual abortion scenes, just talks about it.
going on tuesday
I’m taking my nephew, his wife and 2 kids (over 16) to see it this afternoon. I insisted.
Gosnell is just a great movie, definitely one of the best films I’ve seen in years. It’s very well written, acted and directed. Gosnell also manages to make some powerful statements about the evils of abortion without ever being preachy or gruesome. I hope all concerned keep making movies no matter what they’re about.
Unfortunately I was only able to find one theater playing it in my area (Northern New Jersey) with the only Saturday evening show being 6:25 pm. It was quite well attended. There’s no better push-back to Mainstream/Social media fascism than buying tickets to this film.
Exactly how does Hollywood distinguish the money from this movie from any other?
I dont wish to subject myself to it.
Go ahead and spoil it. Its a true story so we know how it turns out. What will it teach me about abortion that I dont already know?
“Great movie but being blacklisted by the liberal media. Fox News has shown the trailer a couple times, but not much. Rest of the media, a 100% blackout.”
Funny you mention that. I never saw it in a coming attraction.
“Exactly how does Hollywood distinguish the money from this movie from any other?”
Are you kidding?
This film isn’t coming from one of the major studios and they aren’t distributing or profiting from it. The Hollywood establishment won’t make a dime from Gosnell, they have done everything in their power to prevent it from being made and promoted.
I’m going to go see it next weekend with my brother. Hopefully it will last in the NYC theater until then. It does look very good from the Trailer.
Hot Air (I think) has a link up to the actual grand jury report. I wonder if all Grand Jury reports are like that one, because it is very well written, lively and devastating.
Horrendous that the the PA government did not see fit to inspect this “medical” facility even after women died there.
I’m so proud of the people who made this movie, I’m going to be happy to pay money to see it.
I’m not sure I can. I could not read articles about him.
3 million people living Long Island, half of whom are Catholic. It is only playing at one theatre.
“Planning to. The wife doesnt want to.”
Go without her. Not trying to sound mean but hey it’s not like you going to see Halloween or Jason and Freddie battle each other.
Going Tuesday
My wife bought and didnt use a ticket for Friday. Wanted to up the numbers
Husband and I just got back from seeing it. Very well done - except for the opening sequences about the raid, which were a bit gory, it was like a well-done detective movie. Very highly recommend it. Go see it before it disappears.
Movie starts 7 15. It is now 7pm. Husband and I are only ones in the movie theatre. 2 hr drive from home.
Producer on facebook said theatres playing games that movie not playing and cant get tickets on line. I found some of that to be true.
Doubt it will be playing next weekend
