A Florida woman charged with killing her husband told investigators she accidentally stabbed him after tripping on a rug.

Really, even the reptiles? We have a bearded dragon with Fungus right now. It’s pretty gross.

I’m a Cub Scout den leader (in my 9th year ... we have 6 sons), and I was a Girl Scout leader for at least four years. Two daughters in the military (Coast Guard and Marine Corps) and the 3rd is talking to the Air Force, and the 4th is six.

Two Eagle Scouts, three current Boy Scouts (er, not quite as motivated ...), and a Webelos. We’re going on a campout tomorrow. I’ve lost track of who-all is coming, but someone will be home to nurse DragonBaby and feed the rest of the pets.

My husband and I are both very fortunate. Our faith and Scouting have played a role in 30 years of pretty-darn-good marriage (as of next Feb.).

I should clarify, i believe her about stabbing him, i dont believe it was accidental for one second. especiallymin context of the police being called to the house 7 times prior.

I’m a USCGA grad myself. Did the Cubmaster thing for 6 years, and I’ve been Scoutmaster for 6.

Yeah, even the reptile thing (snakes . . . why’d it have to be snakes?)

As soon as you realize the Boy Scout program is a MIDDLE SCHOOL program, creating a curriculum for it is way easier.

I divorced three years ago. She lost a bunch of weight and decided to relive High School.

Can’t win them all.

EEEW, high school. Worst time of my life except junior high school. None of my children sees the inside of a school until community college, unless it’s for a Scout recruiting event or something.

Our church holds “overflow” Christmas and Easter services at a local high school, and I took my teenage daughters to sing at one of them. After about three minutes in the school, they both looked at me and said, “Thank you!” “Like, yeah, big time!”

I got to Weight Watchers and work out so I can be tougher than a Cub Scout. I worked three weeks of camp last summer. I’ve never given out on a hike.

I love snakes. We found a black rat snake in the archery range storage barn last weekend when I working a Cub Scouts event. About 5 feet long: I named it Evelyn and texted a picture to the Council shooting sports director. “We haz a snek!” Evelyn didn’t like the disturbance of our getting all the targets out of the barn and slithered off for new adventures.

Someone must have had food at the range. I warned them, if you have food, you get rodents, and if you have rodents, you get snakes.

I see plenty of Florida’s citizens on Live PD.

It seems that every guy that gets stopped by the fuzz never has a shirt on.

I don’t know about Mensa, but it’s 99th+ percentile of SAT scores (in the mid-1980s). Like Bill the Son and Tom the Other Son and Vlad the Further Additional Son, I could ace the verbals in my sleep but had to drill math. Pat the Alien Son had to drill verbal skills, and James and Frank have no hope of great test-score achievement.

I cut pizza with a chef’s knife, and I have tripped on rugs before, though not while carrying the knife, so...it’s POSSIBLE....until you factor in the 7 previous police calls to the home. It’s still possible, but the likelihood drops down to maybe 2 out of 10.

No, I was in a specialty that didn’t call for it. Now, and for decades, I’ve been in the Mom business.

Since around 1990, the College Board has been adding points to SAT scores. There are conversion generators into which one can plug the scores and the date of testing. We used them see whether Son #3 had done better on his first attempt than Son #2. He had not. Son #5 is my last hope to knock Son #2 off his pedestal. A very large reward is offered!
