To: US Navy Vet

We live in a rural area and the cable company jacks ups the internet rates by a factor of three if bubdled services are terminated. Our margins is only a twenty dollars difference once other service is added back.

Of course we have no competitor.

You might want to look around at alternative internet providers. I think they are referred to as WISP (wireless internet providers.) They might be able to cover hard to reach areas where no one else provides internet service. I have a friend who gets his signal from an antenna transmitter several miles away. He’s very happy. Put your Zip Code into the Antennas Direct channel selector and see what channels pop up.

If you’re within 70 miles of a transmitter you should be able to get something with a good rooftop antenna.
