If you wanna keep it close to home and the familiar, there is the Oracle archive or the LexiQon (not to toot my own horn). But those might bring you up to speed quickly a bit. Then dig more deeply. Follow the thread to stay current.
It's a lot, and hard. But if you have the time, it's well worth it. There will come a point that you see the world in a completely different way. Like as if you got the sunglasses in the movie "They Live".
