It is interesting that several people I have not seen posting are doing so in a positive manner. Geronimo and trebb are just two I have noticed. Of course there are the usual haters which I agree should be ignored even though it is difficult. Are more people making themselves known since the recent scolding? That seems to be a good thing!
I am kind of dull about how this thread draws attention. It seems to me that someone would have to search for Q unless you are on Ransomnote’s list. When I scan the other threads on FR I usually only take time for one page but lately much less than that. Is this thread so very obvious as to draw attention and cause distress? I really would like to know better how it works.
I can understand how many of you are being missed on other threads. We have some curious minds and original thinkers here. There are some posts that may raise up the angst of some but Ransomnote does a good job of re-directing. Are people searching out those posts to justify being super critical? Anyway, thanks everyone for your research and drawing connections. Things read here are days ahead of news cycle. That is somewhat of a proof to me. Some things take longer to develop.

It usually only happens when a new thread starts so it’s on the first page of the forum. People typically browse the first page and there it is so it can draw people who would not normally post here. Simple.

There is a page here called “Latest Posts” that shows all comments across the site in the order which they appeared, by time.
Since the Q thread has so many comments it is frequently seen there, since each comment appears with the title of the thread to which it belongs. The following link is the URL of that page. . .
http://freerepublic.com/tag/*/index?tab=comments
If you ever get stuck on that view, click on the tab that says “Articles” for the other view. To return to Latest Posts, click on the “Comments” tab (and just under the Comments tab, “Text” is also chosen).
