Huma had ‘exempted’ status, signed off by the Beast, that allowed her to simultaneously be a government employee (State Dept), a contractor for Teneo, and an employee of the Xlinton Foundation. (quasi-legal)

Huma also, evidently, drew government salary on occasion without taking leave-time (illegal). She stayed at home on ‘maternity’ leave after her boy was born without having telework authorization (at least there has been no public paper trail on that).
