WASHINGTON Jeb Bush wasnt invited to niece Barbara Bushs surprise weekend wedding, it was revealed Wednesday.
Former first lady Laura Bush said the former Florida governor and failed presidential candidate didnt make the cut for the small-scale, and short notice, Oct. 7 nuptials in which her eldest daughter with former President George W. Bush married actor Craig Coyne.

Laura looks beautiful as usual.
George Bush the elder is almost 10 years older than Ruth Bader Ginsburg and he STILL looks tons better than she does.
Ya know... I’m reading this again and it’s interesting that Laura Bush went out of her way to say he WASN’T INVITED. That is kind of a nasty thing to say publicly. There are a million other ways to have said it. But she chose that. There’s trouble in the family, no doubt. Maybe they didn’t want him in the pictures. SERIOUSLY, Historic pictures, TWO presidents. With him it would have been Two presidents and one who will go down in history as “LOW ENERGY.”

They probably just wanted to keep up the energy level. :^)
It sure is.
Bush updated code standards and put insurance incentives in place for wind mitigation. When you see newer buildings in Mexico Beach standing undamaged - next to piles of debris - you can thank Jeb Bush for their survival.
That said, watching the elder Barbara's funeral spoke volumes of the family dynamics.
She didn’t want a guac bowl for a wedding present.
