A Fox clip this morning reported that Ditsy Taylor Swift took veiled jabs at the President by telling the audience to be certain to vote and take others to vote to change the country. Obviously, she doesn’t like winning.

Swift is going in the direction of the Dixie Chicks. “Shut Up And Sing” is the best motto for these people.

Since Taylor Swift is mainly a pop music singer, her leftist tendencies will not hurt her to the degree it did for the Dixie Chicks. Additionally, their ashamed to be American statement was more toxic than Swifts endorsement of a liberal in the state where she lives. (She is no Southerner, but a native of Philadelphia, aka West New Jersey.).
That being said, the celebrity culture is on the decline in this decade. It is partly due to the almost exclusive leftism of movies, music, and sports. Another factor is the decentralization of entertainment due to the Internet and social media. Why are the big tech companies so eager to rein in independent and conservative voices like James Woods and Alex Jones? They want to re-establish liberal monopolies over the media by silencing the opposition.

As long as they run a club that only liberals can be in, I have no interest in them.

Same people giving awards, same people getting awards, same virtue signalling, same political bloviations. Wash, rinse, repeat.
In a couple weeks there will another awards show with the same cast.
Yawn.
To: Fido969
Haha. The Trump effect is real!
