Dogs quickly learn that veterinarian office smell. The sound of dogs barking is probably a big tip off too.

Awww! I had German Shepherds as a kid. I loved those doggies so much, and this video reminds me of them. I miss them! They were good and faithful dogs!

When I was a young kid in Cincy, we had a shepherd/collie cross who would start whining if we got on the road to the vet - and would stop the second we passed the vet.

I used to have a cat that needed frequent veterinary attention. I got him from the animal shelter and he had some issues. Great kitty, I miss him a lot.
I got to know the people at the vet’s pretty well. Once I dropped him off in the morning and returned for him after work, and they told me that he’d have to stay overnight.
With a totally straight face, I asked for a loaner.

My aussie loves going to the vet ... I think its because her first visit as a puppy she was introduced to ... peanut butter. She remembers that and associates the place with good memories lol.

My dog pulls on her leash hard to get into the Vets office. Then equally as hard to get out after being stuck with needles and kennel cough medicine squirted up her nose.
