Astros rolled Chief Wahoo 3-0 to advance.
[I thought they ‘retired’ the Chief, but I noticed him prominently on the caps of the Cleveland Indians.]

108 wins? I hadn’t realized the Bosox were that good this year. It’ll be fun watching them go against the Astros in the ALCS.

Just got back from the game. Kimbrel was terrible.

I haven’t been keeping up but being in MA I am quite happy. Living here is pretty brutal with the energy costs, politics and the cost of living. But nothing beats the sports teams.

Yaaay, Sox!
Good luck against Houston!

If we get a Red Sox versus Dodgers World Series, the sometimes-questionable Dodgers pitching could cost the Dodgers the World Series.

Championship droughts for MLB Final Four
1969-Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers-never have won a championship, only World Series appearance was in 1982 against St Louis Cardinals.
1988-Los Angeles Dodgers-Defeated Tony La Russa’s Oakland A’s for last Series win.
2013-Boston Red Sox (this is the 100th anniversary of 1918 World Series win, Red Sox did not win another until they bottled up the Yankees and then the Cardinals in 2004).
2017-Houston Astros-defending champions, last season was their second World Series appearance and first Series win since entering MLB as an expansion team in 1962 (as the Houston Colt 45s).
