Totally agree. My father had a high school degree and managed to do quite well. And he could out argue any of these so-called “smart folks”. And a long time friend who dropped out of high school is brilliant an has some good inventions to his credit.

Some day college (depending on the degree) may be looked back upon as the single most wasted investment a person could have made in the 21st century.

I agree about what you said regarding your father and long time friend.

Another thing I noticed is it takes them 1/4 the time to make a decision than it takes me :)

they dont analyze and dismantle things from EVERY SINGLE ANGLE POSSIBLE.

They just make a decision, go with it, and live with it.

The fact remains that people with more education have higher incomes. The exceptions you mention are likely cases of higher intelligence, another predictor of income.

That may no longer be true for Black Studies, Womyn Studies and other such crap graduates.

My love is history but making a living with a degree in history means driving a cab.
