True but in her case it was caught very early during surgery for something else, maybe gallstones. Like almost all cancers, catch it before it gets into the blood or lymph systems and you can beat it. But because she had it I believe you are on target about her frequent tests, likely CT scans.
You could be right, I don’t know how or why they actually caught it. Like you say, for sure they are now testing everything often. I think of blood changes also.
