Frankly, I don’t want that crap in my gas. Ethanol has a lower BTU rate per gallon than pure gasoline, so my MPG will suffer. Doesn’t do my small engines (lawn tractor, mower etc.) much good either.

Best to use non-ethanol gas in small engines.

I pay extra, about 25 cents a gallon, for non-ethanol gas. I shouldn’t have to, but my old truck and my boat, lawn mower, etc. all run like sewing machines. alcohiol kills motors older than about 2,000.
