Frankly, I don’t want that crap in my gas. Ethanol has a lower BTU rate per gallon than pure gasoline, so my MPG will suffer. Doesn’t do my small engines (lawn tractor, mower etc.) much good either.

Best to use non-ethanol gas in small engines.

True. And it would be nice if it was more readily available. It's here and there, but not a lot of places carry it. I usually get by with adding Stabilizer to my fuel for the lawn stuff.

In CA that’s only available by about the 1/2 gal at $12.99, or a few race places at? You could run Coleman fuel at about the same or a dollar or so more/gal, it’s alcohol free. I bring back ~30 gal of alcohol free gas when I go over to NV now days, keeps the old engines happy (1940’s/50’s Briggs, 1927 Maytag).
