Thanks, I’ll check it out. Whatever he did before or after, IMHO he hit his all time peak in the 1980s.
I’m a fan of Steve Vai, hence I am impressed by his ability to just answer the never-ending Frank questions when he’s expecting an interview on his current tour, upcoming show, future studio plans, etc. He’s a better man than I.

Zappa is awesome! Thank you.
Thanks! That’s a great concert.
intrigued by Zappa, but thinking about him, you hear Linda Rondstadt songs on the radio far more often than any of his. There was talent, oh man talent, but I think he played to musicians and not to ordinary people. The real people who appreciate him are musicians
I saw Zappa in concert and it was a Twilight Zone experience. Not from the band or the music, but from the audience. I expected to see portals materializing for some of them. Near the entrance they had “amnesty buckets” for contraband that were 55 gallon drums, mostly full, with things you don’t normally see at concerts.
The young couple that sat near my on my row were strangely intimidating. Dressed like they were going to a senior prom (nowhere near that time of year), including her wearing a corsage. They spent the entire concert with their heads between their knees, power dragging what must have been the lowest grade marijuana ever. Machine rolled joints kept in a silver cigarette case.
Zappa may be the most underrated composer/musician/performer of all time...
I clicked in to find out who Frank Zappa is. Was.

For later.
I saw him perform live 4 or 5 times. Incredible music.
