Agree. I watched the Issa interview as well and thought the comment odd. Now with TEXOKIE’s spotlight on it, the question remains: WHEN or WHY would a Congressman ever come before or stand before the Supreme Court? He or she wouldn’t. Defendants don’t come before the Supremes; cases do. However, defendants do come before military tribunals.
When I first heard Issa’s comment I took it to mean that now Kavanagh understands what it’s like to be unjustly smeared. But the bit about “we” and “coming before” Kav in a court proceeding really does seem to imply something else.
