When Daniel Payne, a white junior at the University of Mississippi, saw that a major benefactor of the journalism school he attends had posted racially insensitive comments on social media, he immediately thought it was going to be really, really bad.
The post on Facebook was written by Ed Meek, 77, a Mississippi graduate and media entrepreneur. In his post, Mr. Meek complained of deteriorating property values around the university campus and declining enrollment. He attached a photo of two young black students wearing party dresses, suggesting that they or people who looked like them were responsible for the problems on campus and in town.... Mr. Meek deleted his post shortly after it went viral. The students in the photograph were identified as Mahoghany Jordan and Kiyona Crawford. Ms. Jordan, a senior general studies major, responded to Mr. Meek in an opinion article for the student newspaper. I deserve to feel secure in my skin on this campus and in this town just as my counterparts do and I will continue to carry on as such, she wrote. Whether Mr. Meeks name will be removed from the journalism school remains unclear.

If these racial pimps had their way he would be lynched.
Party dresses
If they were white Id still think they looked like hookers.
Isnt that the issue here? Who wants hookers parading down the street in front of their house?
The guys complaining about trannies running around the neighborhood at 2 AM she HE is a racist? We really have lost our collective minds.
What race is he complaining about? Purple?
True enough. We’ve reached a new low when you can’t call a freak a “freak”.
white, black or asian, we called them hoochie mammas back in the day.
street looks pretty trashy, too.
He forgot to use the word slutty.
Books hanging out yea that’s a party down dress.
he complains of 40 arrests and activity at 2am. But the critics seized upon the photos of a woman with barely concealed breasts and another in a tube dress.
Tuition is high. Some students have to work their way through college. One should dress appropriately for the job chosen.
Complaining about hos and sluts is turned into ‘racism’.
If they remove his name, they should give back the money.
LOL! Perfect.
Get a real major, ya dumb broad!
I have witnessed more modestly dressed hookers plying their trade on a street corner.
My daughter went to Ole Miss until recently. It is a wonderful university. She didnt encounter racial discrimination. But they dont like northerners that have a funny accent.
Gratitude is SUCH a white male Eurocentric concept.
