I think the thing that started to snap me out of it was when I was in HS and I happened to be walking in the hall during class for some reason and I passed one of the *popular* girls sitting in the hall in tears with some friends trying to console her cause she had just learned she was pregnant.
yeah I hear ya’ and 25-30 yrs later all those popular people who show up at hs reunions are just plain out washed up ‘nuffinks...............they played their cards too fast & too loose;living out too loud.
