I can climb a couple hundred feet to the top of the mountain ridge and see the Coors Field baseball or the Denver Donkeys football fields. About 20 miles away, but about 3000 ft higher elevation higher.
My Brother in Colorado must be thrilled.
Gee, thats too bad. Hopefully the mighty Yankees choke tomorrow against the smallest payroll in baseball.
Wow. The visiting team celebrating on your field two days in a row. The baby bears have 5 months to lick their wounds and start back to work
That was a rough final quarter of the season for the cubs and easy to see coming. Run production became the exception from this lineup more days that not. 2 runs in 2 days of playoff baseball. Pitching was incredible on both sides tonight. Cubs need to reconsider their lineup and replace their hitting coach. Down years for nearly everyone but Baez.
Overtime?
No overtime in baseball.
Extra innings.
Baseball is timeless.
Cubs curse is back.
They were the cream of the NL most of the season and now they’re out.
Billy Goat Curse.
Entertaining nailbiter of old-school baseball. Bye, Cubbies. Enjoy your next 100-year wait.
IMHO neither one of those two teams are in the same class as the 5 teams left in the American league..
Fly the L!
Go you Brewers, go!
I don’t think the Cubs got their moneys worth on the Darvish deal
Wild card determined after one game? How screwed up is that?
So, Cubs end up with a losing season. They come home with nothing. Nada.....
Terrance Gore was an interesting subplot: without his speed as a pinch-runner for Rizzo the Cubs don’t score at all, but because Maddon overmanaged he had no one left to pinch-hit for the offensively-inept Gore, who can’t steal first base.
“Overtime”? Good one!
