LOL! Sounds just like ME when my boys were getting ready for Higher Ed. I told them that I would pay 100% for Tech College so they could actually LEARN A TRADE, BUT they had to live at home (bought crappy cars for the commute) and I had full access to their teachers via e-mail, phone, etc.
Worked like a charm! They had their degrees in TWO YEARS and I turned out two 100% employable tax payers who have NEVER returned to live in my basement for one minute! :)
One is a City Planner and the other is an IT Guy.
