Another thing I wanted to share. I put this in my barn a few years ago. We already had water there for the goats, underground sprinkler system piping from the house. But now that the goats were gone and it was a clean hobby type barn I wanted a small sink to be able to wash my hands. Not cheap no matter where I looked. So I went to the thrift store, bought a enamel pot for a dollar, drilled a hole to fit a standard size sink drain plug, and got flexible tubing so the water runs out and along the side of the barn downhill. Screen at the end of the pipe to keep critters out. It's perfect for washing hands which is all I wanted. Plus with the handle it can swing out of the way if I need to fill up a water jug. Also had a storage container I didn't need anymore so I put a half cut roll of paper towels in it. Mouse foiling!
Very smart! Thanks!
Next project is getting the rest of the metal roof installed on the house. With all of the rain we’ve had (and ANOTHER 5-7” on its way this week, AARRGH!) I was DELIGHTED to tell Beau that there is a leak in the ceiling at the top of the stairs!
He said, ‘Well, I guess I HAVE been living on borrowed time.’
Yeah? No chit, Sherlock, LOL! This roofing project is in YEAR SEVEN!
Again, I choose my battles. I can go live quite happily in my Greenhouse, LOL!
