Cherry, if the pubs had come out for blood with ms. ford, the left would have cried foul/bully/ see see! pubs are meanies! and their zombie hoards would have been even more inflamed to vote the dem line, and the stupids on the fence would have been pushed left easier. otoh, Im with ya, But I’m hoping the pubs are playing the long game and not just being civil.

And no one can convince me that she didn’t know Grassley offered to go to CA. It was all over the news.
They will try to come up with something, but I think CBF was their best shot. A lot of planning went into it.
If there’s anyone honest left at the FBI, and the public is fortunate enough to have them investigating Kavanaugh/Ford, and if the investigation proves Ford is a flaming perjurer...

I do my part and vote. My senate candidates don't win very often since I live in Illinois. I do have a Republican congressmen.
I hate them because who the hell has time to listen to a podcast for an hour? Or watch a video. Where do these people get their time?
I haven't followed the story that closely. The significance of being in Delaware is she could have driven to DC for a private interview she claimed she wanted. The committee thought she was still out in California and offered to fly interviewers out there. It is possible her lawyers didn't tell her of the offer. They weren't working for her, but rather the take down gang.

Well, maybe they do know this. I read about her being in Delaware last week from a comment on one of the many articles on the internet. The Judiciary Committee says they have their own investigators and have done their own investigation. It sounds to me like they probably know everything. It appears that everything the Republicans do is for appeasement and to keep any groups from criticizing them.
