She came across as an overaged Valley Girl. The “uptalking” and annoying “vocal fry” that so many young women use now. I think it started with the Kardashians.
Oh I agree. I just don’t think the voice was only for the benefit of the hearing.
My guess is that she normally speaks this way.
She is a professional victim, and they all do the whiny voice without tears. It generally comes from being a woman who is the only female in a household of only men/boys. I don’t know, but am thinking she probably had only brothers, no sisters.
