I loved Jefferson Starship. Great music from the 70’s and 80’s - although some purists said they musically sold out in the 80’s.
RIP, love Starship. Don’t think they contributed unduly to the destruction of America (this is really directed at a later commenter). If they even tried, they are punks compared to Madame Queen DIFI.

Saw them in concert in the 80’s. Grace could still belt out the tunes.

IMHO “Jefferson Airplane” was a bit too offbeat, whereas “Starship” was a bit too poppy. “Jefferson Starship” was just right.
But I liked all 3.

Sad news, the combination of male and female leads was unique and very successful. RIP miracle man.

I snuck away and went to that event, only for a few hours so my mom wouldn’t catch me. I grew up in Livermore. I remember the streets in town were full of Hells Angels.
