Perhaps she could compare notes with John Kerry and the ‘events’ that are ‘seared’ into his memories of Viet Nam.

LOL...spot on!

You just have to know that that was part of the speech they gave her.

She tried to sound all clever by also using the phrase “etched into my hippocampus”. To my ears, she sounded utterly pretentious.

In the hearing today I think we witnessed a person traumatized by an unjust, brutal , undeserved and emotionally devastating attack by evil sociopaths

That person sure as heck ain’t Christine Ford

When I heard that phrase today, Kerry's statement immediately jumped into my mind. What he said was "seared" into his memory was the Christmas he spent in Cambodia in 1968 as part of President Nixon's "secret war" in that country. But for one thing, Nixon wasn't president in 1968.

Don’t forget she remembered distinctly having just one beer and Kavanaugh’s attack. The rest is forgotton, like what notes she shared with reporters over the last two months. Or that she likes to travel in airplanes.

I don't why this nut got so much sympathy!

I was surprised to hear Lou Dobbs gushing over her!

Here is a grown woman who could not deal with an incident that happened over 30 years ago and wanted to destroy an innocent man's life over it!

I was confused by which of her 36 year old detailed memories were “recovered”, and which were somehow retained. The encounters with Kavanaugh at other parties, or with Judge in the aftermath, for example. Somehow these presumably non-traumatic things were remembered without doubt, but matters of time and place of the incident were not remembered at all.

The whole controversy about recovered memories was not addressed at all. Everyone had to pretend that the matter was above question.

Because she’s a leftist moonbat that has either made the whole thing up, or she’s projected Kavanaugh into her very shabby memory.

She should be a poster child for a liberal ‘hater’.

I commented on it at the time. It was Christmas in Cambodia that was Seared into Kerry’s mind. And it didn’t happen. :)

I have a vague memory there was smething that wasn’t seared into her brain, but exactly what I’ve forgotten.

She is also a bad actress, imo. The tearless crying during her testimony was so obvious. Her hesitation every time she was asked a question also made her look dishonest. She was not credible at all. It makes me sick how the media (including Fox) are reporting this as if it were a sporting event.

I agree that she did so much damage to herself that there really was no reason to cross examine her. For once, the Republicans did a good job.

The only thing “seared” into Kerry’s mind was his plan to get out of Vietnam service even if it meant abandoning his ship and crew, which he did on 3 fake Purple Hearts.

My friend, John O’Neill, took over Kerry’s Swift Boat command when he bailed and served a full tour of combat duty.

This woman plagiarized Kerry. Isn’t that a hoot.

It seems implausible that she can't recall the time and place of supposedly the most traumatic event of her life. She wasn't a small child lacking contextual awareness. She was a 15-year old social creature who was responsible for getting herself to certain places at certain times, in school and out.

She would have had acute awareness of when and where immediately after the incident, so why did everything fade away over the years except the identities of her attackers?

I imagine we all can pick out one or two events that were the worst moments in our life, and unless we were toddlers when it happened we know where and when it happened.

The worst moment of my life (up to that time) was a phone call I received Thursday, November 12 1998, at about 17:30. I was standing in an electronics testing area, and the nearest person to me was named B__ T_______. After I hung up he wanted to talk to me about my team of techs, but I had to leave immediately. I remember everything that happened during the rest of that evening, including an unexpected intervention of the Holy Spirit (big time).

I remember the 'worse' worst moment which occured in a conference room with a brain surgeon on June 6, 2007, a Wednesday. I remember the first person I called afterwards, and what I told her. Would that I could forget.

I can even recall exactly the date and place of breaking up with a fiancee on Thursday Nov 18 1993, in a restaurant that has since been turned into a nightclub.

Thursdays in November are something I dread, and I know why, precisely. If Christine in fact had the worst experience of her life in that room, she would know who's house it was and when it happened. I can't see it any other way.

As this wasn’t a trial, there was no room to grill her on inconsistencies... however, recall that she had been “going out” with Kavanaughs friend nicknamed “Squee”, the same gentleman Ed Whelan pointed to as Kavanaughs doppelganger, whose house matched the description of where she was allegedly groped.
It seemed no one wanted to name him publicly or discuss him.
