Nothing. The entire setup of Senate committees, hearings and procedure has become absurd. This is especially true when they try to set themselves up as investigative bodies. Their legal skills are terrible and mostly they pontificate and badger and get nowhere. The ones that know what they are doing are few and far between. They need to come up with new ways of doing things or they will continue to descend into the theater of the absurd.

I thought the evil doers moved politics into the theatre d'absurd shortly after our founding. And the absurdities have grown exponentially since then.

I’m listening to the hearing via streaming Rush’s show. I’d have to say, ladies and gentlemen, that a more effective and quicker way to get a terrorist to flip would be having them listen to the Doctored’s voice. I’m thinking THE toughest and most fanatical raggedy man would be confessing to gorging on bacon and flushing the Quran quicker than you can say “OMAGAWD, TOTALLY, LIKE and FURSHUR.”

The Dems keep want an FBI investigation. Yes, I understand it would delay, stall, everything, and be fodder for the midterms, but there seems to be some underlying reason. Something to do with HilLiary perhaps?
