Thursday after Ford and Kavanaugh testify (if Ford shows up), CNN and the other networks will conduct immediate polls to say "who was more convincing"? They will try to influence the committee vote on Friday.
The polls will be rigged by over sampling Democrats. Be ready to participate in any online polls as possible.

Even the wording of the question will be biased. Perhaps: “Do you think it’s possible that Kavanaugh assaulted Dr. Ford?”

Ford will not testify. No way. She has nothing and she knows it. The Dems just want the rumor. They want the pubs to fold their tent and give up. They were relying on rumors and accusations to sink Kavenaugh. They overplayed their hand. You can’t bet the farm when all you have in your hand is a pair of Jokers and Jokers aren’t wild.
Especially the poll taken at the CNN family picnic. Even the kids get to vote twice for Dem side. Corn on the cob and chicken is good but everybody hates it when Blitzer and Tapper sing karaoke to a medley of Barry Manilow songs after they get drunk.

Frank Lunts was just on, and his polling indicates that the longer this lasts, the longer it is stretched out, the more it motivates Republican voters.
If they don’t get him confirmed before the middle of October, it could motivate enough Republican voters to bring about a red wave.
So,of course, Republicans are in a rush. Can’t win, now.
The left still doesn’t get that this sort of thing is a non-issue with voters.

This is positive. However, there is a real reason to Rush, Rush, Rush. If Kavanaugh isn’t confirmed, Trump needs to quickly nominate another candidate, go through background checks, hold hearings, committee vote and Senate vote before the new Congress convenes. - Especially if Dems capture the Senate. On the other hand, if Reps expand their margin in the Senate, it might be better to wait for the new Congress to have more Rep votes. Danger with this approach is the Supreme Court could tie 4-4 on some important cases.
I have said that while I expect Kavanaugh to be confirmed, if he is not, President Trump should pick Amy coney Barrett. Let’s see them pull this kind of crap on her.
She’s more of a Scalia-Thomas type judge than he is, and she would explode some heads in the “believe women” crowd — such as Harris, gillibrand, Hirono, and the like.
