“Our findings support that consumption of dairy products might be beneficial for mortality and cardiovascular disease, especially in low-income and middle-income countries where dairy consumption is much lower than in North America or Europe,” Dr. Dehghan said.

But they told me 20 years ago I couldn’t drink milk or eat cheese, because I would die of a heart attack. Glad I didn’t listen to them.

I sometimes buy whole milk from grass-fed (only) cows.

Very high in DHA and as healthy as it gets. All all my cheese is raw, organic and from cows that eat only grass.

That stuff is expensive.

I’m betting the more affluent societies can afford to eat more dairy than “developing nations”, and many factors from affluence are much more weighing than the one factor of dairy. For example; cheap carbs, sugars. No bueno for the heart.
