Red corn is not a hybrid (very few heritage seeds left). It is available through Heritage seed catalogs.
IMO it’s the hybridization of our grains that have created many health issues. If you’ve had cancer or an immune disorder you might want to grow some.

My friend had a little garden in her back yard in California and grew some. It is so good, and sweet. I found some once here at the grocery store.
