I did not find Ford convincing at ALL.
Her story is loaded with contradictions and she showed her true side when she blamed her friend's illness for refuting her testimony.
And she doesn't know what "exculpatory" means?

When Ford was asked what was the most traumatic memory she took away from the incident (I am paraphrasing) she said her hypothalamus (or some such thing) had in bedded in her memory was the LAUGHTER. Yet in her opening statement she said it was traumatizing how when he put his had over her mouth he would accidentally kill her.
