The thing is, the one-week delay was recommended by the committee, BUT it was not part of the actual vote and was not an addendum to that vote. The vote, plain and simple, was whether to recommend Kavanaugh to the full Senate. That passed 11 - 10.

I’d hate to have him push the vote if he doesn’t have the votes. Kavenaugh has been through so much to lose because of a few rhinos.
