Weatherbug and CBS Sports both give me the information I want in easy to navigate formats.

And, of course, a browser app to access FR and other favorite sites. I like Puffin Pro.

Not easy name one favorite app.

Beside Sirius XM and I Heart Radio, my latest apps are Pop Slots and Duolingo, a free language app with a LONG list of languages to learn. I’m working on Spanish now, but then there’s French, German, etc. on my wish list.

I call Pop Slots app the “patch” for those who like to go to casinos. It imitates several Vegas casinos like Luxor and Mirage. Again, it’s free and it quickly teaches you that even if you win big, you’d probably just “reinvest” the winnings. So though it’s fun, I have no desire to go back to the Oklahoma casinos or Vegas and play real slots anymore!

My old cell doesn’t have the ability to have apps. I’m happy with it.

Spotify. I subscribe, it learns what you like and rolls the tunes.
It has very good sound quality and even splits up music into different catagories. I plug it into my vehicle too.

Skipping the every day apps, nav, cam, mp3, browser.

CamScanner.

If you deal with PDFs and don’t have a scanner next to your desk, this will save tons of time.

Moon Reader Pro.

Book reader with easy text to voice. Need to read a 60 page report? Listen to it while you drive or take a walk.

Roku

If the remote is lost under the couch, this will work. Want to listen to the TV with head phones, yes again. Other benefits too.

Brain Waves

Not entirely convinced but at times it seems to aid sleep.

Bible app

Don’t use this as much as I should.

CCW

Only needed it a couple of times but good to have if you are traveling with a gun.

Drop Box

Set to backup photos and video without additional compression.

Field Trip

Fun to fire up when traveling.

Voice search - beats saying "OK Google" and is more intuitive for accomplishing tasks. Not that I do much other than make 3 calls a month (hate having a phone on me and carry mine so the wife can reach me if she needs).

I can activate the voice search and tell it "Take me to the nearest Walmart (or give it a specific address for someplace) and it will open Navigation and take me where I asked it. Can also tell it to text/email a contact and it will let me tell it what to send.

Shazam.

When you know the tune but not the name or artist, Shazam rocks.
