So many golden ages, so much brilliance from which to choose. In culling from the "60 Greatest" lists we've compiled during our 60th-anniversary year, we shook things up, blending drama, comedy and other genres to salute the shows with the biggest cultural impact and most enduring influence.

#1) Should be Leave it to Beaver, they don't make shows like that...
Ya think the show will make it easy to follow sharia law or have your head cut off if you dont submit?
The only objection I have with “Better Call Saul” is that the makers seem to be taking themselves too seriously at times. It’s like they know what they did with “Breaking Bad” and are trying to step it up a notch. But the techniques can sometimes get obtrusive, almost self-conscious.
Agree. Sir David?
Yep...Sir David. I also enjoyed his actor cousin Lord Richard Attenborough.
Probably not but neither will Adrian Monk solve every murder case in America.
Yeah, maybe.
For me, it’s the only thing I can stand on tv. It’s mostly just filth now.
We got rid of cable and we just have internet now.
It’s extremely rare that I sit down and watch something of that nature.
I normally watch tutorials on youtube if I watch anything.
Great ‘pretend’ commercials, too! :)
“It’s Log! It’s Log! It’s big, it’s heavy, it’s WOOD! It’s Log! It’s Log! It’s better than bad...it’s GOOD!”
Benny, never jumped the Shark... Probably the only show that never did. Gleason, Andy Griffith, My Three Sons, etc etc. They all faded off into mediocrity.
How about Sea Hunt. Loved that show.... would pretend I was under water in my bed.....
LOL, yeah, good old Log.
Another fine Spumco product.
“Ren & Stimpy definitely deserves a spot. It was pioneering in its sheer absurdism but what I appreciate about it is that, unlike a lot of modern outré cartoons, it was never mean spirited.”
Never mean spirited??! Yardstick - you bloated sack of protoplasm!!!
1. Combat!
2. 12 O’clock High
3. The Prisoner
Try Fairly Secret Army.
It isn’t too politically correct.
Same here.
I recently found some Marcus Welby and really like it.
Marcus ran when I was a very little kid.
Trapper John MD is another favorite medical doctor show.
Star Trek OS is number 1 hands down. Not only did it influence series spinoffs, but movies, as well as a reboot of the OS. Not to mention it’s influence on technology,
Twilight Zome is second,
Andy Griffith
I love Lucy
Honeymooners
Tonight Show with Johnny Carson
And when cares about the rest....
The only Drag race I want to see is the one Brittany Force and her sister is doing...
for later
