Any left?! Pun intended.
Wow! What a deal!
Can’t get them at that price at a Goodwill store, even.
Goodwill throws out trashy donations like that
Kids are dumb enough to buy torn, ripped jeans, why not taped sneakers?
.
And to think I paid $27.98 for two pair of sneakers from K-Mart.
If you walk into a storefront wearing shoes like that, you should expect to get a bowl of soup and a pamphlet about Jesus.
Half or more of my friends wore torn, ripped jeans when I was young. It was not a fashion statement, it was all we had. With several older brothers, the only jeans I got that were not torn were a single new pair at Christmas, and that didn't happen every year. I'm not offended or hurt those who buy them that way to look trendy, but I do think far, far less of them.
Those are no good without the $425 fake mud work jeans and tattered t-shirt.
One can wear those $500 trashed sneakers with the $1,000 greasy bum pants.
My worn out Chuck Taylors looked better than that. $9.99 back in the day. Any color.
Oh my goodness, I finally relented and threw away to pairs of sneakers that looked far more wore out than that, complete with duct tape. At least the black duct tape matched the black leather but the chew holes in the toe looked more interesting.
How about authentic odor. My sons have some, I’ll do an even swap.
I remember back in the 60s we would have patches sewn onto ripped jeans. In the 70s a sweater style was to have patches at the elbows and they were made that way. Mr. Rogers anyone?
Ive prolonged quite a few sneakers with rubber adhesive glue. The soles often detach before the bottoms wear out. Forget the crappy taped looknot necessary, just glue it back together.
memory lane calling on the white courtesy phone . . .
Ha!
I had two brothers and when we were little my mother sewed patches onto the knees of the new jeans before we ever even wore them. Why wait?
I have to wonder what Nordstroms gets for new shoes.
Just the other day I was complaining that I have way too much money and need to throw some away. This looks perfect!
Seattle needs a bandage, a nuclear one. How can such a beautiful city produce such nuts and commies as their political leaders, and then have a business that sells taped up shoes for over $530 to liberal suckers?
I know, they’re all liberals and Democrats so sanity and business ethics mean nothing to them.
