Something is NOT RIGHT about that man.
Just lonely and old finding solace in this harsh world.
I could see that in my future.
Agreed,,
It’s the Sweater!
My FIL is a retired cat wrangler.
Everything is right about that man — making helpless abandoned creatures of God feel safe and loved. Maybe he is a lonely creature of God, too. A win-win for both sides. Plus, his blood pressure is probably good. DH and I have low, healthy, BP; doc says the cats are calming. Maybe ... I don’t know.
Cats don’t mind, he doesn’t mind. Shelter doesn’t mind. Cool.
Oh yes! Cats can make one fall asleep in a heart-beat. Napped with our pets for years. For some reason brushing a cat or having them rest with one on a sofa makes everyone sleepy, even the cats.
What’s “NOT RIGHT” about something a retiree’s found that hurts nobody, brings himself some meaning, peace, and happiness, and helps others?

This could only be posted by someone with an outsized ego, who contrives to remain less than sure sure of themself.
Most cats are more decent, honorable, faithful, truthful, and - yes - moral, than are most humans.
