If she does testify it will certainly be in private. We will never get to see her demeanor or hear what she says and the Dims will misrepresent what happened. It won’t help the Republicans’ case at all.
She can testify behind closed doors but this isn’t a matter that involves national security. The transcript of her testimony will eventually be made public — maybe even within 24 hours.

Good point. If the meeting is private does that mean that what’s said in the meeting is kept private? Does it mean that no one in the private meeting can talk about it afterwards? Including Professor Ford?
